Going into this season I am very excited and I think a Sweet Sixteen team is very likely.

With that said my one concern is PG. I know we have talent at the 2 guard but I'm not sure anyone on the roster can be the type of player Staten was.

Who will be the "main" PG?

I think Staten was one of the best PGs to play at WVU and I'm afraid we will miss him in clutch situations this season.

Tarik Phillip and Jevon Carter

Right now, Carter is running with the 1s and Phillip subbing him. That could change if Carter struggles and is better off the ball at the SG position

Once Teyvon Myers gets the playbook down, he can come in and play PG too.

Do you think Carter will be as effective playing with the ball instead of playing off the ball?

Are you convinced he can create his own shot instead of knocking down open looks?

Playing with the ball is completely different than playing off the ball and to me Carter seems like more of a spot up shooter.

I was really hoping to see Beetle play this year because he seems to be more of a true PG.

carter is the starting point guard. really, this has never been a question. he is, far and away, the best option there

I know that Carter's 3% plummeted once he moved to PG last season and his overall FG% dropped over 10% as well

Personally, Id play him at SG coming off the bench for Dax, in a hockey-style substitution pattern

However, our league features about 3-5 teams that are going to require us to play a LOT of 3 guard line ups... K St will even require 4-guard sets because that is all they have is guards
