Basketball game thread

3 minutes left in the game and we haven't scored a point that wasn't a dunk, layup or FT since the very beginning of the 2nd Half. I hope that's an aberration.

This MSU team has at least 3 professional players on it.

Unfortunately I’ve been watching this same team for …8 years now?

We will win the games we should win….and lose some we should not. We will not upset anyone.

We will finish 2 games over 500 in SEC, good enough for 4th place….8 seed in Tournament. We will win the first game at buzzer to a mid major and then lose to UCLA by 24 points in 2nd round. That’s what the data says.

And that would be tied with several others for our 3rd best team in the past 60 years. Sign me up.

Honestly with the amount of money that we have to use in our basketball program we're not going to see the light of day for a while unless we get lucky with the NIL starting right on the heels of transfer-athon.

It's gonna be near impossible to build a team from the ground up with talent because it's going to get sucked up by the money teams every year. One of these days we're gonna say here lies basketball college basketball and I really enjoyed it too bad it's gone.

Maybe the teams like Duke's, Kansas, Kentucky, or Gonzaga will let us play our own little league so we don't have to play them.
