I don't understand this board.

In the past, there have always been game threads during games, esp the "bigger" games. last night we played krayton, and not a peep.

why? The skers have looked good this year, and are in line for a regional bid. yes, we lost to the bluebirds, but nobody knew that before the game started. besides, krayton is not a bad team, #17 in rpi and could land a home regional.

Erstad is a good coach, why give up on him? Plus he played football here! Double extra point!!!

Lets pick up the boys, lots of season left, GBR!

So what prevented you from starting a game thread? Or is it just more fun to wag your finger at other fans for not meeting your standards?

just a lurker, and followed the threads.

no biggie, i didn't mean to incite paranoia. I was wondering about what seems to be apathy. i didn't realize the baseball board was being used. in the past the main board had the baseball topics on it

How does asking you a simple question constitute "paranoia"? If you want a thread, start a #**&^%@ thread.

The way he said skers? Regular husker fans don’t like the shortened version of huskers.

Or that he said Erstad is a good coach?

"Erstad is a good coach" is a natural law that is not to be questioned under any circumstances. Any inquiries about what exactly makes him a good coach or questions about why the program has underachieved on his watch will result in disciplinary action, including but not limited to revocation of your Husker Fan card.

Also didn't mention that Erstad played baseball here too. Probably more well known for his baseball stuff at Nebraska than his punting for a year.

I really hope we ride it out with Erstad. It appears to me that we're close and would like to see it work. We've got some really good looking young players but we clearly are having some issues with consistency through the year.

Very, very worst case Moos would give him the full season. That way we can see the finish product this year.

No, he is more known for being the punter on the 1994 National Title than any accomplishments he made in the MLB..

Earlier in the year NU beat some pretty darn good teams and that created some optimism that we were going to have a decent squad this year..

Now it’s the same old story at the end of the season for the last 3 or 4 years..

I didn't think the Huskers were very good this year, but in all fairness, I watched them in Feb. in Surprise, AZ when they got their butts handed to them by Oregon St. 17-1. They looked like a high school team playing a major league ball club. Bats have been very weak in most games unless we get a bunch of HBP's, walks, errors. We're lucky to score 5 or more runs usually.
