After holding Canisius scoreless in the top half of the first. WVU gets on the board first with an RBI double from Marques Inman after Andrew Zitel was walked. Mountaineers lead 1-0 after one.

WVU still leads 1-0 after two innings. Strowd got of a jam in the top half of the second and Isaiah Kearns was stranded on second in the bottom half.

Strowd is done after 2.1 innings after allowing one run on one hit with five walks. Junior RHP Christian Young is now in for the Mountaineers. He has a 7.47 ERA in five appearances this season.

A wild pitch brings home the go-ahead run for Canisius. Golden Griffins now lead WVU 2-1 with one down in the third. Bases are loaded again for Canisius after a walk.
