For there to be almost no tickets available on the secondary market, there sure have been a ton of empty seats in the grandstand every game. Wish those people would put them up for sale if they know they're not going to try and get butts in seats.

I've thought about this many times, and as much as I'm sure that most season ticket holders would be glad for unused tickets to go to State fans, I think it comes down to people not wanting to go through the hassle of listing them and/or not really caring about getting paid for them.

With all the technology at out fingertips, though, why can't the ticket office do this?

1. Strongly encourage, maybe even incentivize season ticket holders to go online and mark the games that they won't be attending
2. Ticket office lists those single game tickets for BC members
3. Let the ticket office take a 10% handling fee, but fund the season ticket holder's account with the rest of the proceeds which can be used towards future ticket purchases

Am I crazy in thinking that this seems to easy?
