So if a guy robs a home run ball over the out field wall, do runners advance? Serious question. If they do, fine. If not, I don’t see the difference.

No. The reason he was in play when he caught it is because he hadn't landed yet. But he couldn't have been standing where he caught the ball and recorded an out.
Huskers need to keep their eyes down. They keep helping him swinging at high pitches. He’s 6’8”, make him bring the pitches down.
I want to know why the Okie State fan didn't interfere since it was not in the field of play. You have to support your team better than that.
I know the answer already, but just thought I should ask 'Why is Nebraska the home team even though Okie State is the 1 seed?' for purposes of consistency.

To be fair, that strikeout pitch was just a good pitch. OSU pitcher got a gift from the ump though, because his second pitch was nowhere near a strike
