We win saturday. Lindgren pitches well tonight, but we can't hit tonight (lose). We pitch well tomorrow and hit well tomorrow (win). Hit well Sunday but get "shelled" to the tune of 8-10 runs (lose). Friday 2-5, Saturday 6-2, Sunday 7-9.

I hope I'm wrong and think I very well could be, but with the results up to this point I think we win a close one and lose two close ones.

Win series 2-1

Lindgren pitches well tonight, and we do just enough at the plate to win.

Evan Mitchell will still be Evan Mitchell on Saturday, and will get put in a hole early that we won't be able to get out of.

Graveman and whoever is left will keep us in it in Sunday.


But I'll take winning the series any which way, and I'll be there to do my part.

Friday: State 4, LSU 3. With both sides getting quality starts, it all comes down to timely hitting and mistake-free baseball. I think we deliver.

Saturday: LSU 5, State 2. Until Mitchell proves he can maintain control, Saturday remains our most vulnerable day. Need our bats to get hot.

Sunday: State 6, LSU 3. This is where pitching depth pays off the most. Graveman, Cox, and La Flama Blanca close out a series win for the Dogs.
