Dude, AMEX cancelled those a long time ago.NOW BREAK OUT THE TRAVELERS CHECKS!
I hope we can. My concern is how long it takes for new hire. Replacing basically a whole team possibly, getting staff etc. Need to get done. Finally a start of a season I can look forward to.
He is 100% a top notch person. The timing was not right for him. Should've given him the HC position last year and he would've had a fair shake.I listened to the interview with him this evening (it starts between 1:16-1:17) and he was a total pro and conducted himself with nothing but class. It was informative and he alluded to what he thinks contributed to the issues they've had with the team without naming names.
Good guy and wish him well.

That is what i find intriguing. Otherwise, it would be more like picking up where we left off. Im in board with getting away from that as far as we canI hope we can. My concern is how long it takes for new hire. Replacing basically a whole team possibly, getting staff etc. Need to get done.
And an AD needs a different skill set that a coach.Like I have said before, Donati isn't a former coach like Ray. He is a proper AD and won't have the emotional attachment/appreciation for fellow coaches muddy his decision making. This is his first big program reboot. Gonna be fun to see how he does.
On one hand, its sad to think about these guys who just lost their jobs and their families with the new found uncertainty about what's next and the likelihood of having to move for a new job... on the other hand these guys were steering the ship of the worst 2 year stretch in Gamecock baseball history.
