The preseason rankings have been friendly to Louisville, this time with a #7 ranking from Baseball America. The Cards are the second highest ranked team in the ACC school, only behind Virginia, who is ranked 5th. The ACC has 7 teams ranked preseason. Due to the scheduling changes this year, the ACC announced each team will play 12 conference series. The scheduling committee didn’t do Louisville any favors as the Cards will play each ranked ACC school, 3 of them at JPS (FSU, Miami, Duke) and 3 on the road (Virginia, NC State, and GT.)
