We already knew that Williams and Schofield are likable guys, and the Game Day segment with Barnes cast him in a good light as well.

Thankfully, Tenn still has a fanbase that rivals Indiana and Louisville for douchebaggery, so it's just as easy to hate them as it ever was.

Whoever talked Schofield into playing the guitar on TV a couple weeks ago should be ashamed of themselves. Poor guys guitar was way out of tune, was flattening his 3 chords he was trying to play, had no strum pattern or rhythm. It’s cool the guy is learning an instrument, especially the guitar. But don’t put him out there on TV when the guy is clearly not ready and still learning. Made me cringe tryin to watch that and kinda mad that someone thought that was a good idea.

I wouldn’t expect a rival fanbase to like our players, but Barnes has recruited a bunch of good kids on this team. He definitely recruits a different kind of player vs. the Pearl years. Looking forward to the game tonight.

Why? Even if we lose to you twice this year, we’ll dominate you for the forseable future after. This is a once in a life time team for you. Wouldn’t even be a top 10 team for us. Seems to me y’all should be praying, seeing as this is your best chance to finally make a final four. But yes, I’d like to win.

Im too old I guess....compared to a lot of Tennessee players and coaches in basketball and football, this particular coach and Vols team is hard for me to dislike as much as the past.
Go back in the wayback machine to Ray Mears, Stu Aberdeen, Ernie G, Bernard King....and a long list after...and I'm all in with the burn em at the stake.
Biggest issue I have with Tennessee right now is EVERY TIME they say they want to clean stuff up, they turn around and do something like hire Fulmer back.
Cleaning up and hiring Fulmer is a laughable statement.

I like the kid. I really do. He’s one of the easiest players to like that has ever played for a rival. He’s got a good voice too. But they should have never put that kid out there like that.

Or what...you think YOU are going to kick somebody's ***? When you are watching today look up in the rafters...we have won so many conference championships we don't even hang them . UK rafters are for Runner-up andNATIONALCHAMPIONSHIP banners!! You and your ilk are butt hurt over UK basketball and Alabama football!! Nothing sucks like a big orange...NOTHING!!

You do realize that losing tonight may hurt our seeding potential, but other than that, winning in Feb. is nothing more than a stepping stone for getting better of March.

How has UT done in that month? UK has done pretty well over the years when it counts.:D

Hope you’re joking. It wasn’t American Idol. Thought he sounded pretty good for a basketball player that obviously doesn’t have a lot of time to practice guitar. There was nothing wrong with the segment. Scoffield is a pretty likeable guy as well as Barnes. If the Cats don’t get #9 this year, I’ll be rooting for the Vols. Anyone but Duke!

If you can't see the difference, why are you STILL trying to convince UK fans that you have the high ground?

You feel the way you do because you are a Vol fan and I feel the way I do because i am a Cat fan.

But, when you are the NUMBER ONE TEAM in the country, WHY do you care what ANYONE says to you?

We hadn't beaten the Gators in THIRTY ONE YEARS!!!! BIG DIFFERENCE.

Ok. I don’t have a problem with either team doing it. It is no different than gator fans doing it to other fans when they win. It is taunting either way.
