I don't care how people worship, that is their choice, but by defending the Catholic Church you are defending an institution, not a religion, that has actively covered up countless child abuses cases engaged in by their Priests and other employees throughout the world. If you believe in forgiveness then practice it by forgiving those connected to Penn State, again don't be hypocritical, judgmental, or selective in your forgiveness. You cannot condemn those who still support Penn State the institution and call it Ped U etc., and not condemn those who still support the Catholic Church. Condemn or forgive those who support the Catholic Church and those who support Penn State, but not one or the other.

By the way, I can't stand anything Penn State and I would love to sit here and join in the choir of never ending hate towards Penn State, but I am Catholic so I have moved on because to do otherwise would be hypocritical on my part.
Hope u feel this way about our schools as well

PSU (main campus) is regarded better than RU academically in some areas, there is no arguing that fact. RU is more highly regarded in some areas as well. What does politically mean?

As for the pedophile nonsense, nobody, and I mean nobody cares about that anymore except on this board, that is a dead issue. Hate to say it, but a previous Penn State poster was correct, to be non hypocritical and consistent, I assume that every Catholic on this site who supports Rutgers no longer supports the Church, attends mass, or allows any immediate member of his family to attend mass, and if they do he/she will disown them. Because that is what I have heard from some posters, that if one of their children decided to attend PSU they would no longer financially support them and disown them. Can't have it both ways, the amount of sexual abuse of children within the Catholic church is far worse and more pervasive throughout the world than the what took place at PSU, and the response by the Church has been just as lame. And one other note, we all know that the abuse continues at some level in the Church, so how you could possible support that institution is beyond comprehension if you are a righteous and decent individual.
Disagree on your view of ped issues is dead wrong. the recent show on paternothis year lends support to this

Wow some real winners on here! 4 pages of trashing a 21 year old wishing injury and failure on the guy, some of you really do need to realize there’s bigger things in life than just college football

Says the guy who tries to prove he's a Rutgers business grad by emailing me a photo of some gal's diploma from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

His major is “Division of Undergraduate Studies” .... yep, to be fair Penn State has a much better program for that, given that Rutgers doesn’t even have this BS “major”. Alright, he may have made a dumb troll comment about academics. But, at least he got the last laugh in his game versus RU this year when he sealed his Heisman, right? Oh. Wait. (Again)

PSU is a better football program duh.

However, Franklin convinced him to go to PSU, and he wanted to major in journalism. I don't know Maryland recruited him, but Maryland is a top 10 Journalism school in country. He ended up majoring in "under graduate studies" Good thing that NFL thing worked out, because Franklin totally screwed up on that education.
He's majoring in Journalism at PSU. A large segment of the undergrads start in the "Division of Undergraduate Studies" before picking a major. His Journalism major is clearly listed on his PSU football bio page.
