The old word mark hasn't been painted since what, 1996?

Hopefully they'll have banners to cover up the outer shell of the press box. Man, that looks bad.</p>

You would have to think that the press box area would be high on the renovation list.

how much a little vinyl can mask things until renovations take place.

/I do some freelance graphic work for this company - http://stadiumwrap.com/ There are some high school **** stacks that look pretty good now.

But why not re-paint with Maroon background and white lettering, instead of a banner? Not complaining, just wondering.

are less expensive and look just as good if they are installed correctly. Basically $6-$8/square foot installed. Plus you can change the look rather easily - I think the banner is also going to feature some team successes, which we hope to have more of one day.

I would guess ease of installation, time, etc. I'm sure it's most likely the most cost effective, and can be quickly and easily replaced as necessary.

My guess anyway.

The East side upper deck front is pretty thin, and any regular size ribbon board would not fit on them, blocking part of the view for those on the front row of the upper deck and/or top row of suites.

is greater than anything LT did in the past decade. I always hated that. The letters were all crooked and just looked cheap. It was always one of my peeves.

......Starkville's little league was not giving any away (reference to the "score board" he added on the front of the MClub building).

That score board was a perfect example of LT's spending habits.

I know this is a little off topic. However, thinking of cheap *** stupid things LT did.

If Byrne wants to increase the seating in the student section, replace the top 4 rows of seats from the 50 to the endzone that LT ripped out to keep the students away from the east side club level. I can understand removing 1 row. However, 4 rows? And adding a chain link fence for good measure? SOB wouldn't spend a dime on a decent scoreboard for the stadium but he would spend a mint to run chain link fence all over the stadium.
