We didn't defend her actions last night when others were trying to say the other guy might have used some sort of insult to get that kind of language out of her. Quite the contrary, there were only one or two taking that tact. The vast majority agreed that her use of the such language was despicable. However, in that same vane, you using her words to call her a POS or ***** is not acceptable anymore then her using the N word.

I don't think it's as black and white as you make it out to be. If I use word on Twitter or use a homophobic slur and it's broadcast everywhere, you bet that my job could be in Jeopardy. Obviously, if I say it on the company's dime, I'm toast, and I deserve it (my boss is the CFO). Of course, I have the authority to fire people too.
EDIT: I live in an at-will state - my employer could DEFINITELY fire me. Good news is, I'm not dumb enough to find out.

Yes I did and I hate her for that. And I'm really starting to think some of you are close to this woman. Family and friends maybe. Good question. If UK really wanted to make a difference they would facilitate a conversation between the two parties. Nothing, and I mean nothing, inhibits generalizations and hurtful speech like people getting to know one another. UK could have really shown the nation something. Instead we get cancel culture and us bickering.
