I've said it all year much to the dismay of some posters on there. Marshall has talent and realistically are the most talented team in that conference when healthy. And yes 8-2 is a good year a lot of teams would like to have but I think if we played a schedule similar to MTSU, USM, La Tech our records would be more comparable to those said schools. It's really hard to gauge because of the schools we played are fvcking dismal. USM is our best win, which isn't saying much. If we go onto win the conference I'll consider it a successful season, anything less than that is a let down
We'll have our hands full beating WKU in Bowling Green...don't see it happening with this young team! Still we can re-group and win a bowl game which marks a "nice" season in my book!
Don't get me wrong I'll take it, but so far this season has kind of just been ho hum.
I somewhat agree....the schedule more than the prowess of the team is responsible for the record. But in their defense this is not the same team that took the field against PU. Playing all these kids is going to bear fruit in the future.
