OSU needed to roll Wiscy similar to what they did two years ago. Bama is in. Ugh!!!

It has to be Bama...they have single loss to a top 10 Auburn team. Honestly...I thought Clemson should have been outside looking in (until they beat Miami) with a loss to Syracuse, while Bama should have been a lock.

Conference Championships should matter. A Championship Committee shouldn't matter.

With only four slots available I believe it's becoming obvious that the committee plays the odds early in the season with their rankings. Ratings matter. Ratings are money. The committee doesn't give a sh.t about good games - they play for ratings - and they start it halfway in season.

Pretty classless to hear Urban, during trophy presentation, providing line item talking points for why they should be in playoff. Just say that you're proud of your players no matter how the cards fall.

How can it? They took Ohio St over the conference champ THAT BEAT THEM last year. The precedent was set last year.

I agree with you trying to point out that for Ohio State it did not matter last year, but this year it suddenly does which is bs. If you can't win your conference you should not get in period, I don't care if a conference champion has 4 losses if they win it they should be in.

They rank based on rankings (a lot of statistical bullsh.t) and PR and advertising.. If Ohio State gets a better ranking in their simulations than Alabama...then Ohio State is #4.

The Committee doesn't give a f.ck about 'who deserves it'. They don't f.cking care the loses...they care about the PR and who makes money.

If OSU lost 2 really close games this would be different. However, they got smoked by OU and a very mediocre Iowa team so Bama deserves the 4th seed. Sucks cuz I hate both teams! Ugh. USC should end up #6.

I'm with you. The committee should be deciding between OSU and USC, not OSU and Alabama.

Got it but don't care. Urban was a smug bastard up there who coaches a team that doesn't deserve to get in. He comes off as very disingenuine because he talks out of both sides of his mouth.

OSU had a tougher schedule, beat two top 4 teams, and are conference champs.
The team that beat bama got smoked today.
Wisky deserves in over bama.
I don't like OSU at all, or Meyer, and they had a bad loss, but look at everything.

Can we just have a three team round robin?
Everyone wants 8 but 8 don't deserve a chance.
