Bama D was sitting back through most of the first half. Not any more. The kitties had to be perfect. They weren’t.

The 2nd half couldn’t have started out worse for K state but at least they tried an onside kick down 11 instead of being up 11 like our former coach.

Maybe now some people will understand the difference in talent level in the SEC vs all the wanna be’s in the rest of the country

We’ve had 20 years of evidence. This game won’t change the thoughts of those that shake their fists at clouds.

K St's coach is about as dumb as Scott Frost. You could say he's Scott Frosting this game up.

It's interesting that it's really only been the case over the last about 20 years. Prior to that it seemed like every major conference had dominant teams from time to time.

I would suggest that the additions of USC and UCLA could have some impact on the balance of power…..but OU and Texas moving to the SEC offsets that impact.

I put 100 on Bama on the ML. I won’t get a lot back, but I never worried. I should have taken the points. I still think Bama is better than everyone else not named Georgia and would stomp Michigan, TCU and OSU.

Can’t wait for Averify to come over here with his italics and let us know how close KSU is that if Bama makes about 20 less plays they are right in it

It
between that and toying with AM, klieman's left some things to be desired from a coaching standpoint this half

need to stem the tide (get it) first possession of the 2nd half if they don't want their doors blown off. even then, still might not matter
It isn't going to matter what he does. The difference in athletic ability is glaring if you didn't notice. No amount of coaching can overcome that across the field.

Thus game is a joke. Something tells me TCU will be stomped.
I was thinking the same thing. So far the B12 is 1-5 in bowl games, and assuming KSU doesn’t come up with some miracle in the 4th the conference will drop to 1-6. I have a feeling TCU is going to struggle against Michigan and if so that’s going to shed a really nasty light on how far behind the B12 is against the rest of the P5.

Absolutely. This Bama team lost two games and almost lost to a bad aTm team and a very average Texas team.
That sounds good in theory, but I would take Bama by 6.5 over Michigan. If you had to choose Michigan and the money line or Bama -6.5 v Mich, where is your money going?

Going to be interesting to see how OU and UT do. On paper they should be competitive but I think they are going to struggle for a while.

Michigan has been a better team than Bama all year, so I’ll take Michigan and the money line. . What have seen that makes you think Bama would even be favored in that game?

I agree but Michigan could at least cause them problems. Give them an ace QB and they would be right there.

Just playing devils advocate, but bama lost two games that were I believed decided at the end of the game against two good teams in LSU and Tennessee on the road. I think Michigan is s fraud and would put money on bama on the ML against Michigan all day. I even took TCU and the points today.

They also beat Texas by 1, who isn’t very good and were insanely lucky to beat a bad Texas aTm team. I was on board with Michigan being a fraud until they dismantled OSU, kind of hard to say that now. Tonight’s semifinal games should be enlightening.

Well, there is no way to prove it of course, but I’m quite sure that a 2 loss Bama team would be , at the very minimum, a pick ‘em against Michigan on a neutral, nice weather field. That money would be even easier than the silly 7.5 line put on this one. Maybe I’m basing it on talent and year over year dominance, as opposed to Bama losing to 2 top 10 SEC teams. Close wins are irrelevant. Michigan barely beat Maryland and Illinois but those are still wins.

And struggled with Rutgers.
