Hate to be that guy, but it says a lot about UK. Shows you that they came out of the gates yesterday ill-prepared and like they were just ready for the season to be over.
We likely don't beat bama... but I was worried about the first game of the SECT, where this type of Kentucky team wouldn't be warmed up for. I actually think Kentucky might have been a little more "ready" to play today, having yesterday to get into rythym.

Oats and Alabama were Isaiah Jackson away from being the #1 seed in entire tournament. If Jackson chose them-they would be my favorite to win it all.

Never heard that comparison. Oats has connected with players well be it HS, college or now at Alabama. Has a really great staff too-Bryan Hodgson is a great recruiter and Antione Pettway has been great at Bama for years, just has a better product to sell.

I doubt it. They really only played above their talent level once or twice this season imo. Beating UT is the only game I really consider them playing above their talent level.

Don't confuse State getting embarrassed today with UK v Bama. I guarantee you it would have been a single digit game either way as they had defeated UK twice already this season and the last time by just 11 at Tuscaloosa.
Stansbury is a great coach. He took Mississippi state to a final 4 in 96. Pretty sure he got scantions against them later though. He is also a known UK hater.

I know some disagree, but I do not think Cal is dumb. He has to see how the college game has been reshaped by schools like Bama.
