I think he looks way better than green did at this time.

True but Green has excelled, whether it's the system he is in, or being surrounded by those shooters

He has still turned into an amazing triple double type of player

I hope not. I have sort of a dislike for Draymond. I don't like the Warriors, but I like and respect Stephen Curry. Yeah, he may had made some dumb moves last year with the flopping and what not, but it's not all on him and everyone is entitled to a few petty mistakes.

He doesn't do anything similar. Young D. Howard maybe but shorter. Young Shawn Kemp but I'm not sold on that one. Al Jefferson pieces but better hops.

Dwight Howard?? Are you serious??

Bam is not going to play Center in the NBA, not even close!

He will post up other 4's, but he's not gonna post up Cousins or Whiteside or Deandre Jordan etc...

His jump shot is much more polished than Dwight Howard's has ever been...

He is physically imposing like Draymond at their 4 position in the NBA, he can shoot pretty well like Draymond, he has a nose for the ball like Draymond does, I have seen flashes of great passing ability like Draymond... I really see similarities in their games

We that's why I said smaller. Same shoulders and movements. Never said he would play center. He might at UK though. Yes shoots better than Howard but not Kemp. D. Green is not physically imposing. Moves his feet well but Not imposing. Green would be average on teams where he had to be the man.

You compared him to Dwight Howard and Al Jefferson, and those two players are NOTHING alike. You pretty much suck, is what I'm trying to say.

Dwight Howard sucks at handling the ball, and has absolutely no jumper. He's just really strong and really athletic, but he's soft too. Al Jefferson is a skilled back-to-the-basket and mid-range guy, but not very athletic, and he's an absolutely awful defender.

Bam plays the game similar to Draymond (not a similar person, not similarly skilled as of today, but same style of ball). Draymond at this stage is a better perimeter threat and passer, Bam is still a very good passer, and has a solid jumper from 15-18 feet or so. Both can handle the ball well, both rebound very well, both are very athletic guys. Draymond is 6'6, Bam is 6'10. Bam will be able to physically dominate guys throughout his career. Draymond will never be that guy, but in how they play basketball, they are fairly similar, and that's not a bad thing at all, because Draymond Green is one hell of a basketball player.

I guess we just gotta agree to disagree, Draymond is pretty imposing in the NBA for the 4 position... Actually the Warriors "death lineup" features Draymond at the 5... Now that has a lot to do with his team-mates...But Draymond can def post up most any 4 and use his bulky body to his advantage...

NBA teams will salivate over that Bam jumper, and will want to use him in the NBA the same way that GS uses Draymond Green...

That's where the NBA is headed, and guys like Bam are going to be insanely useful as they are suited to play basically on the perimeter or down low...

I really like your post! I think Bam is 6"9 however and Draymond is 6"7 close to 6"8 but other than that I pretty much agree!

I also think Draymond is physically dominate... Just against other 4's in a small ball lineup! I think Bam will be used the same way eventually! I don't care how big your muscles are, your not going to dominate physically other centers at 6"9

Even Cousins does his best work now it seems attacking the basket against 7 foot guys like Deandre Jordan, or Andre Drummond, Or Hassan Whiteside

It's not fair to compare to the Kemp but that might actually fit the bill for bam.

As you see he was measured under 6'6" barefoot.

Would like to see what Bam measures. I think his coach said he was 6'9" barefoot so I'd prob expect him to be around 6'8.75" he has grown a little in the past year so maybe he will grow another inch before makin it to campus.

I watched Shawn Kemp in HS and they are similar players athletically with kemp maybe having better ball skills. Kemp could dunk it from the ft line so the rain man wasn't lacking on athleticsm. Kemp couldn't hit that well from outside but he was a really good player. An espn top 10 play every time he set foot on the court. One of his best dunks was cat on cat crime when he dunked on Kenny Walker.

Alonzo mourning is also a guy built similiar another all time great.

Adebayo has more of a power game than Green. Green was a stat stuffed in high school though. I think he would have actually fit well into Tubby's style had Tubby stayed.

The other kid we had in that class before Tubby left would have been good too. Kenny Frease?

I still haven't seen Bam outside mixtapes and all star, but I doubt he will ever average 7.5 assists per game in the NBA

I think he compares very favorably to Derrick Favors right now at this stage but with a better motor and jumpshot.

Probably not, but he probably won't play with two of the best shooters in basketball history either... Draymonds assist stats are probably inflated by 2.5 or 3 assists a game off of Klay and Steph alone

The Amare comparison isn't bad. Might just be the North Carolina connection and the physical traits but JJ Hickson came to mind the first time I saw him play.

Rich man's Montrezl Harrell even works.
