Eastern Michigan junior 2-star QB Preston Hutchinson putting on a clinic. 8/10 for 109 yards and a TD, 8 carries for 77 yds (9.6 ave) and 2 TDs. He seems to have benefitted from coaching and playcalling.

Well.....since we've had posts about firearms, facebook/parier, vaccines, and lawnmowers today, I figured we are in the midweek doldrums and any topic is fair game.
I didn’t watch this game as I was watching Toledo @ Western Michigan. Great ending. I think Toledo was leading most of the game. Toledo got a very favorable spot on 4th down for a first down around Western Michigan’s 10 yard line when they were leading by 3 points with just 2-3 minutes left. Toledo then scored a TD on the very next play to go up by 10 points. Western Michigan scores a quick TD. I missed it, but I think Western Michigan missed the PAT because they were down by 4 when they kicked off. A Toledo player touches the ball on the ensuing onside kick before it goes 10 yards (Dumb!) and Western Michigan comes up with the ball. There is just under a minute to go. They march right down the field on mostly 10 yard passes to the running back who gets out-of-bounds on each play. Western Michigan completes a longer pass to about the 8 yard line in the middle of the field with about 15-20 seconds to go. The Broncos Qb then fakes spiking the ball and throws a too easy TD pass to a wide open wide receiver. No Toledo defender bothered to run over and cover the WR who was spread out wide to the left side. (Dumb, Dumb, Dumb). Toledo fails to complete a pass when they get the ball back with just 15 seconds remaining in the game and Western Michigan wins.
