Yea and 20 years later they look like a sun dried piece of leather. Give me a Southern Gal for the long term.
I'm with ya. Southern women are awesome. Mine is t shirt, panties and barefoot 24/7. True Kentucky girl.

I used to be right where @drew_ukfan is at. Matter of fact, it was like a revolving door at times. Found out that it's much less stressful to just settle down with a good one. Plus, she's good lookin, great cook and comes from a good family. Takes good care of me too. She checks all the boxes. I'm more than content.

With all the stuff that's out there about Miller and Zona, how can a coach from that place look a kid in the eye and say its nothing to worry about. I guess you should expect this out of Miller and the Rug Doctor, and guess you have to throw Will Wade in too !

You know I wish Baker the best and he seems like a good kid but why would anybody even consider going to a program headed straight for probation. Do these kids not know whats going on, do they even care. Arizona is a cheating school and life goes on like nothing is wrong, guess they learned from North Carolina* deny it and fight it. No player should want to touch that program with a ten foot pole, cheating is against the rules but more and more are doing it and the NCAA looks powerless to stop it.

I don't know about the hot chicks but the Paddock certainly has its share of studs and chick magnets. Or so I''ve heard.

Honestly though what makes Zona any better than UK? Zona recruits studs year in and year out just like Kentucky. He will be recruited over and sit the bench there as well.
100% agreed.

Arizona has commits from:
5* Josh Green who is a wing player
4* Terry Armstrong who is also a wing player

And already on roster are:
Brandon Randolph was the leading scorer as a guard
Douvitre who was a 5* recruit 2 years ago

There is as much competition for minutes at Zona as there was at UK.

"It's a dry heat." You know what else is a dry heat? My oven. Went to the Arizona State fair when I was in Phoenix. It was literally the size of a county fair here. You could stand beside the basketball hoops game and see how deformed the rim was. GF said, "You play BB. Get me a teddybear." Then I showed her the rim, and how the height of the hopper was off too. Really got my man points when I stopped her from stepping on a rattle snake out hiking.

The whole baker thing is weird. He was billed as a great shooter
yet never consistently hit shots, became a decent defender and gained cal's approval and trust. He then fouled an auburn guy on a 3 pointer and his time at ky is done. Just weird

I think having limited playing time, coming off an injury and missing a year of playing all factored in him not being a consistent shooter. I think he'll be a good shooter and player if he ends up on a team where he's a good fit. I don't think Arizona is.

I think he's got unrealistic expectations.

You're the #74 recruit and go to UK--you're going there understanding you are most likely a backup early and have to fight to earn your minutes.

People love to post this idea that Cal needs to give kids time to play themselves into playing good. But on other baskebtall teams, the expectation is the kids that show they can play good get more minutes.

I agree with that mostly, but if you're playing terrible like Hagans was against Auburn you should go to the bench.
