Pretty basic reason why Beamer has lost me and why I'm almost fully checked out. I'm rarely on this site and don't really visit other SC sites at all this year. I haven't watched a full game this year. Didn't watch last weekend and will not watch tomorrow. The coaching is moribund and there's no energy, excitement or prospects for a decent win. Kids see and feel it too. A number of kids and probably some coaches will bolt after the season.
Throw a little bit of money each month to NIL... won't hurt our recruiting efforts to have more people give!

That's funny....you're on this site every damn day telling us how much everything sucks. But you're rarely here?? OK, bud. But you're right...we'll lose coaches and players after the season, but doubt we'll cry of any of them.

And the staff just contacted that in-state RB who is committed to VaTech so it seems possible they are making contingency plans pretty late in the game.

Except our local guys. Maybe a trend. Seems our locals tend to have a better read under Beamer than the national guys. Who knows??
I had to go look him up. Hadn’t even heard of him, but I don’t follow recruiting that far out unless it’s a major recruit.

I wouldn't put much stock in a 2025 commitment at this point. There's a LONG way to go before he can sign.

Don’t disagree with a commitment for over a year out. However, look at his offer list.
Not making any predictions about his future, of course. A lot of 3* are fantastic players. But I wouldn’t start shoveling dirt on Beamer bc a 3* recruit picked another school. It’s almost certain we’ll get another 3* at the position.
And, as another poster pointed out, 2025 is a long way off. Gunner Stockton was a USC commit at one point in time. We know how much weight a commitment carries these days.
