Baker knew his time was short at UK. Cal recruits with assumption that a player won't stay longer than a year or two. If you barely play and you see a top recruit or 3 coming in for your position, you're going to transfer.

Cal doesn’t believe in the 3 ball. He’d rather dribble around for 18 seconds, do a couple weaves, post somebody up unsuccessfully, then have the point forward who shoots 12% from the field drive into 3 stationary defenders and throw up a prayer over his shoulder while falling down and beg the ref for a foul. All while the other 4 players (all 17% three point shooters) stand wide open on the perimeter. Dribble Drive at its finest.

Cal recruits over guys and uses 7-8 a game max. He’ll rarely have any veterans. Unless it’s a grad transfer.

Everyone knows a post up is a better shot than a shot worth 1.5 times its value and it's smart to continue playing two non-three point shooting bigs with your drive-first wings and point guard who can't dribble

These guys sure don't look like they did a lot of entry passing on their HS teams. You are so correct about this team failing to do that. Just one of so many things.

Yep. They hate the one and done and can't stand the two and done's.
SMH...wow. Anything else you wanna blame fans for that’s our of their control? Damn some of you on here are crazy as hell. We got psychos on both sides of this debate. Some that think Cals above criticism and some that think that everything he does is wrong lmao

Cal is far from not being able to be criticized, buddy. Like fans, Cal is responsible for his tenure as the UK coach. Fans aren't to blame for how they react towards players? WTF planet are you from. You must have missed the entire time Hagans and EJ were here.

Look man, I realize you’re on a crusade to deify Cal but we could use Baker on this team and YES, Cal ran him and Juzang off by recruiting over them.
Baker, Juzang, and Quade Greene could sure help our backcourt.

Hell, you posted your physical address trying to challenge someone to a fight on here. That’s dumb dude. I have no choice but to include you with that psycho crowd on that one lol I respect your not a wuss so I’ll give you that.

Idk If you can blame the fans for the culture we have. I don’t think players are leaving because of the fans. Most fans are always nice to players when they see them out. Hell they get treated like celebrities. This board isn’t going to run any players off. The culture here has changed, kid just wanna get their year in or possibly two and go straight to the NBA. It is what it is I guess.

He challenged me. I didn't challenge him. I just answered in a way I thought he wouldn't expect.

I would argue that he was never given a chance and saw the writing on the wall.Cal would take him out after one mistake while others got away with tons of them.
I think this is one of the major problems with Cal. Does not give a player a chance to build up confidence. No one is going to hit all their shots. Look what he did with Allen this year. Miss a shot and you sit !

Me too, but when Im wrong Im wrong. I could have responded initially without being a giant d-bag. I only took the apology down because I didn't want to clutter up the thread since I saw that you saw it.
Hell I thought you was one of the guys that freaks out on people when somethings said about Cal that’s even fair to criticize. I messed up myself.

I have no problems with calling Coach Cal out. I don't mind deserved criticism. It would be hypocritical to not allow others to do so. I've called out moderators on this board before and they can keep me from ever posting here or having to make me be like this one guy who has made like 1000 accounts on here. I will defend someone against batshit crazy stuff like yesterday when these people were attacking him about his interview. Such an innocous incident, but you'd think it were Chernobyl from their perspective. Created controversy.
