Nick is concerned, I am not. Kid passed the eye test for me this weekend. Kid is on the depth chart right now.
I'm not sure how he keeps his radio gig.He may be right, but stick to basketball Nick.
He's a great PBP guy. Honestly I like him better than the afternoon guys on Unsportsmanlike Conduct. Used to be a great show with Kugler, now I can't stand those guys: dumb debates, Blow "thru", weekly draft, all garbage.I'm not sure how he keeps his radio gig.
Only downside in the AA game was he didn't score. He had great catches, great open field moves, took a heck of a hit and even blocked down field. Most of his catches he was diving for and had no chance for YAC.He's a great PBP guy. Honestly I like him better than the afternoon guys on Unsportsmanlike Conduct. Homer Joe Quinn over on 590 is better than the 1620 afternoon hacks.
As for Wandale, I don't know what's not to love? His display versus his peers at the All America game should erase any sentiments about what he can do at the next level.
I thought we were talking about Wandale/Bahe. I can stay on topicUSC sucks
Bahe is brutal too...We get it...you love the Jays and when they lose you pretend like they didn't lose.
I thought we were talking about Wandale/Bahe. I can stay on topic
This isn't a Bluejays 247 page. I don't deliberately troll or talk Jays/Huskers unless it's brought up on here but I'll bite here John
My take on this Jays team after seeing them in person is that they lack good ball movement and guard play, whole offensive flow sucks, defense is not there with Khiry gone. Free throw shooting is terrible. The Jays are a long ways away in my opinion from putting anything together, might not happen this year who knows. Both Creighton and Nebraska are lacking consistency from game to game. Good teams have things that are portable from game to game.
Even NU fans on here have been pretty quiet. What's to say that hasn't already been said before? I've got to wonder if these transfers for Nebraska won't bite Miles in the *** again. Super talented guys like Copeland shouldn't vanish in big games. Good teams don't get buzz-sawed like Mike Riley always said. Well, we got buzz-sawed again. Iowa BB buzz-sawed Nebraska. Good teams rise up to the challenge. I just don't see that from Miles' bunch and I think part of it is the reliance on transfers.
NU's team is far better than Creighton's at this point. Hope that one of these teams figures it out and don't repeat the same things that get them beat week after week.
My god I can hear his voice as I read your examples! SOOOO TRUEBahe annoys the hell out of me. He standard shtick is to create a straw man that almost nobody is saying and then tear it apart.
'People are saying that LeBron is washed up, let me tell you why that is wrong.....'
'Everybody is now saying that Saban is a horrible coach and needs to retire, well............'
Yes, not nearly as strong as the BIG. That's for sureIf you are a Jays fan...the good news is the Big East is horrible.

Did everyone actually listen to what he said? He is for the guy but thinks perhaps for the kids sake, fans don't pile too much in him too soon as far as expectations. He was not anti-Wandale or anything like that. Not sure what the angst is. He wasn't difficult to listen to or understand, he had an opinion, qualified it and that was it.
This is exactly what I think he was doing here. He says the hype train for Wandale Robinson is going off the rails. Really? People are excited about his potential, but I haven't heard anything that is really outrageous. And his evidence that the hype is "going off the rails" is some random Facebook post? I could come up with about 10 players off the top of my head who were receiving a lot more hype than Wandale Robinson-and not just random people here and there. I really don't know what it is we as fans are supposed to do differently-people get excited about our players and their potential. I don't think people are piling too many expectations on him. I had to laugh at the end of that segment when Bahe says that he isn't trying to be a wet blanket. Whether that's really his intention or not, he knows good and well that's how it is going to be received, so why do it?Bahe annoys the hell out of me. He didn't say Wandale will win the Heisman as a sophomore. By doing so, he basically said Wandale sucks. Keep up brudda

I don't care much for sports-talk radio, so normally I wouldn't have listened to the clip and for that matter, I don't think I've ever even listened to Nick Bahe more than maybe a couple of times, so I'm not real familiar with his schtick. But just so I could know exactly what was being discussed, I decided to listen to it. I was amazed at how it fit almost perfectly what you described.Ah! I guessed it and I didn't even listen to the link the OP posted. This is always his shtick. I am not sure how he is still on the air.
Joe Quinn is TERRIBLE. I understand that they have 4 hours to fill but man he goes on a 3 hour rant about something and he just won't quit. Nick Handley (spelling?) is not too bad. Severe is mostly great. Severe as a guy who has lots of life experience outside the midwest is really interesting to listen to IMO. Love his analysis of recruits. Bahe I just can't listen to and when Schick was on with him it was awful. Way too much giggling about really stupid stuff that just wasn't funny. He's a great PBP guy. He's an explosive play waiting to happen. AM, Mo and Wandale all on the field at the same time? Yikes. Find another WR that can stretch the field and look out.Two guys last year that Frost really wanted in Lincoln were AMart and Mo. Martinez arrived in January and was a frosh AA. Mo got to campus about 5 minutes before the season started and was able to make valuable contributions his first year. Frost really wanted Wandale in Lincoln and then Held stuck with it after he committed to another team. Robinson is in the program now and thus will take part in winter condition and spring ball. If he stays healthy, I think we are in for some special play from him this fall.

What are you talking about? Try to keep up... no one is saying Wandale will win a Heisman by his sophomore year... no one!He didn't say Wandale will win the Heisman as a sophomore. By doing so, he basically said Wandale sucks. Keep up brudda

When Wandale is a sophomore AM will be winning his second Heisman before turning pro... Wandale doesn’t win the Heisman until his junior year. Jeez!
