Just depends how much worse...

Another game? A week? A month? Rest of the season?

Bolden was out for five weeks? If his is similar would be tourney time to integrate him back...I’d expect that would be a really bad thing....out to long by then....

I'm hearing some rumors it may be worse than a one game thing?

Are these rumors coming from reliable sources? If so, then f&*k. Hopefully, he will be back on Wednesday for the home game against VT or Sunday for @Clemson. We had enough injuries last season to last 10 seasons. No mas please.

well the staff hasnt been extremely informative when things like this have happened, most recently as last year and with bolden this year. he could be available next game or out the rest of the year if history has taught us anything.

“Precautionary” keeps me optimistic. You’d think if it was necessary he would have played last night.

If it was that bad, I would think that he wouldn't have played as many minutes as he did against unc, but who knows

Sometimes when you're playing in a game though the adrenaline can take over and an injury like this one doesn't feel quite as bad until after the game is over. But like someone else stated, the staff plays this kind of stuff so close to the chest it is really hard to know how bad it truly is. Hopefully, it is only a minor sprain and he misses no more than a week or is back Wednesday. I know a grade one is tricky. Bolden's took 5 weeks. We can't miss Bagley for 5 weeks. Hell, I don't think we can afford to not have him down the stretch of this season. We still have, VT, @Clemson, Louisville, Syracuse, @VT, and Senior Night against the holes. I don't care if 4 of those are at home nothing is a gimme in this league and we need to win all of these games to improve our seed that keeps falling. Win out and win the ACC tourney and we have a slim chance at a one seed still. We need Bagley healthy for that.

This sucks for the kid. The pressure for him has to be so much greater than most given he is probably the 1st overall pick. Kids should be able to go straight out of HS or stay in college for a couple of years.

Injuries suck! I hope there is nothing to this injury and he is able to get back to full strength soon. But you're right. This is further proof that players should be allowed to go into the league right away or have to spend at least two years in college.

It might be smart to sit him one more game, that will give him 9 days to make sure there are no lingering issues, bring him back too soon could lead to more serious injury

See, I think having him miss the VT game would be smart at this point. And if he is able to return @Clemson then great. I guess I just thought this was a less worse version of the injury Bolden has dealt with and Bagley would return sooner rather than later. Which may still be the case. We are all just speculating at this point.

He’s fine. Tendonitis from mild strains typically takes 7-10 days to go away. They just don’t want stress those tendons in a state of inflammation. He’ll miss VT and maybe Clem, and be 100% after that. We’ll be great without him as Carter has been waiting his turn to beast out.

Just got word that Bagley is done for year, but on way back from Georgia the team stopped by Zion's house. It's in works for him to reclassify and finish year with Duke. He's going to try and be in Durham for 2nd half Wednesday.
Sorry guys, but K isn't as fast as he used to be. Remember he has a new knee.

I would have laughed, if the first nine or so sentences didn't make my heart drop through the floor.

Would it surprise anybody if all of a sudden we’re duscussihg working him back into the rotation for the Acc tourney. I hate to say it but it’s just happend to many times!!!

Gosh I hope not, and I don’t truly think it will happen but he certainly won’t be rushed back. I could see him missing 2-3 more minimum unfortunately.

We'll probably be okay without Bagley against VT, at least match-up wise. Kerry Blackshear is literally their only big - they have 9 other guys that see regular minutes, but none of them are over 6'6. If I'm not mistaken, Chris Clarke usually plays the 5 when Blackshear is out.
