For women’s hoops. Only trailed by one at the half…DePaul took over in the second for a 81-63 final. Tough shooting day for NU as they hit only 3-20 from beyond the arc. When Brown and Walsh are off; things generally don’t go well for NU.

Aneesah Morrow had a school-record 45 points and 13 rebounds for DePaul.
18 of 32 from the floor, but only 1 of 6 from 3 point range...

Didn't see the game, but that sounds like domination in the paint.

Walsh absolutely could not defend her, and she scored at will. Meanwhile, dePauls zone shot down the half court offense in the second half. Good coaching there.

I liked that the cats honored the other coach at the start. Good form!

I still remember Doug Bruno attacking a referee on the court while coaching a women's professional team... he's had a great run at DePaul, but can't get that image out of my mind so I'm not sure honoring him is such a great thing.
