Yes, but also a big offensive liability.
I would be shocked if UNC is as good next year, losing Makes and Love will be tough to replace. But we'll see what they've got!
UNC will be very good next season. UK should be very good if Oscar and Toppin return. Could be another epic UK-UNC tourney showdown.
Leaky actually starting making 3's over the last month of the season. It played a big role in UNC's success. He hit 33%. Apparently he started seeing a therapist, and learned to deal with his anxiety.
We will learn Love's NBA decision in the next 2 weeks. We're gonna look into the transfer portal for a stretch 4 to replace Manek, or Puff Johnson will be the next man up. He was pretty wonderful against Kansas.

I was impressed with Puff Johnson (when he wasn't puking on the floor haha)- he seemed to have very good potential.
At least you can acknowledge your guy started shooting better...we still have people on here blaming Wheeler's bad 3 point shooting (it really was not that bad) for all our problems late in the year, even though he shot the best by far of all UK guards in our 8 losses.
Leaky was actually really open about how seeing a psychiatrist helped him overcome his anxiety issues. I'm not used to seeing athletes talk like that. But he's turning himself into a legit 3&D guy, and it all started with focusing on his mental health.
Also this video he released is just awesome. I'm happy that he's happy. He's had a long road to get to this point.

Cal has always had a problem with getting kids to stay… or more accurately a problem with pushing kids out before they’re ready.
It will certainly help with Carolina’s stability next year but let’s be honest, outside of three weeks of really good basketball in 2022 what have these returnees produced for Carolina?
