for me it's tough to say this because Shawver is "our guy", but you are right.

I still hope he gets a bid.

How about both Brown and Shawver..similar careers...similar rough last year as a graduate student.
Shawver got the one win that gave him the AA.
Brown cam up one win short.

They wrestled 8 times in 6 years... 5 OT matches...
I thought brown was going to ba an AA when i saw him the first time.

A tough break? He had his opportunity. While I'm impressed he was able to beat Braxton Brown twice, his performance during the regular season and the B1G tournament was uninspiring. He is where he got himself.

A tough break in the sense that he’s a good wrestler who had a bad season, but even if it was a good season he’d still be an extreme underdog to place. 133 this year might be the most loaded bracket in the sports history.

I think years from now we are going to be looking back at this 133 bracket the same way we view the one bracket that had Metcalf, Caldwell, JB, Palmer etc… wonder how many AAs, and national titles this group for freshman will have between them when all is said and done.
