I didn't want Baylor to get in because of the game they were gifted against Texas Tech. Turn the ball over in overtime, almost certainly going to lose on a Tech FG, and the refs invent a pre-snap illegal snap penalty that cannot be declined. How Tech's coaching staff didn't go completely berserk is beyond me.

It will be interesting to see how Day calls this game. Fields will be somewhat restricted wearing a knee brace on his left leg due to a sprained MCL.

The Buckeyes and a few other programs have been on such a role with recruiting and landing the bulk of the top tier talent that at times it seems impossible for the rest of the country to compete. I can't cheer for teams landing and hoarding all of college football's top recruits every year.

Mother and father were both from Wisconsin. Father was an alum. Both had Masters from Minny. They all rooted for NU until they passed. I'm guessing dad would have loved NU in the B1G.
