Why? Nearly every big 10 team has struggled to beat or has lost to non-power 5 schools. Considering we are breaking in a new center, 4 new wrs, a few new running backs we are only going to get better, and I feel our ceiling is a little higher than most big 10 teams. We need a kicker...and we need warner back. And we need to get lucky on the health front but I only see one big 10 team that could handle us for 4 quarters, which means we'll have to get lucky in close games.

Seeing Purdue drop another one, Maryland coming out of the clouds, Minnesota getting a scare today has certainly shown me things are never as bad (or as good) as they seem.

Minnesota gets a scare. Northwestern is up a score with a minute to play. Illinois loses. Iowa sneaks past State, Purdue loses. Wisconsin is the only B1G west team to look legit.

If you were a betting man on all B1G teams this week, you lost a lot of money.

Penn State was also fortunate to get by a Pitt team that couldn’t seem to get out of its own way.
