I’m anxious to read the report. I’m not sure why it dropping automatically means good news for some and bad for others.....I don’t think anyone believed Trump would be indicted by SC, maybe Kush.....but jeez, can’t you wait till the sound of the thud at least before you laugh at those that didn’t want to hear it?

Check out @bennyjohnson’s Tweet:
Did anyone read the report yet? Barr even? A lot of jawing going on when the information isn’t even out yet. Guess that’s based on the narrative in conservative press over the last two years then? Hope you’re right.

Guess this at least means Trump can declassify the FISA and clean up the DOJ-FBI-CIA and the entire IC’s reputation? At least that will be a good thing.

What has the conservative narrative told you that wasnt true? Want a list of resistance lies?

Left has insisted we should wait until Meullers report is finished now insists it must be released to the public before the White House has the chance to read it. I suppose they think it will give the WH a lead on talking points relating to the report....

They assume not being indicted by Mueller is the same as being exonerated by Mueller. The truth is that if Mueller is 80% sure they committed crimes, he would not bring an indictment because his case isnt strong enough. Al Capone was the most notorious gangster in history, but he was never indicted on any murder charges they just didnt have the evidence. They had to use tax evasion to put him away.

Likewise, when you bring charges against the immediate family of the President you have to have an absolute slam dunk case. The report may well reflect that, which is why we should see it. He is very likely to have included reasons why he chose to not indict people in his report that will not be included in the Barr brief, since the DOJ typically doesnt discuss individuals that it doesn't indict.

This still ignores the other investigations spun off from Mueller. If I were Jr., and maybe to a lesser extent Kushner, I would be much more worried about the investigations into the Trump organization by the NY AG and question regarding campaign finance by the House and DOJ.

Mueller was never going to indict Trump while he was the sitting President and the House was never going to impeach without a sure victory in the Senate. There is potential that sealed indictments already exist, however.

Mueller did good work. He indicted 37 individuals or organizations I believe, and got convictions in every case that has been heard. He proved connections between Russia, Wikileaks, and the Trump campaign. He also found issues that opened up something like 4 or 5 other investigations that are still ongoing. The only thing he didnt do that I thought he might was an indictment of Jr., but I covered that topic above.

Lastly, I'm proud if the work Mueller did. This is an example of how a professional and sophisticated investigation should be handled as opposed to the way the Ken Star investigation was conducted.
