Away Game Travel Advice

I've reached the age where I have some free time and extra money so am taking trips to some upcoming away games. Any advice/things to do/places to see from anyone who has attended a game at Indiana, Ohio State, or USC? Doesn't all have to be football related since I'll be at each place for a couple days anyway.

Peterson Automotive in LA is really cool and right across the street from the Academy of Motion Pictures museum. Right across from the Colosseum is the Natural History museum
