Haven't you heard? Cal is off to the NBA in another month or so. He is stocking the roster for the next coach. You know, just like Rick did for Tubby...
I figured someone would know and I wouldn’t have to do some digging...
Why in the world would Cal use a scholly on Brad. I think he can afford it and secondly I think UK employee's children may be allowed with no tuition. If anything I am hoping Brad is a grade point enhancement...

Any word if Jemarl is taking a medical redshirt since he didn't play as a freshman? Or how does that work?
I think the statement 'mass exodus of upper classmen' sounds oxymoronic when you consider our one and done philosophy.
We have one available scholarship and Cal is recruiting one more player. Seems pretty simple.
He is automatically considered a freshman still. The only thing that needs to be done in regards to that is some clerical work that likely falls on an administrative assistant to turn in to compliance that indicates who participated in each game.
I do think next season will be alot like last season where we lose a ton . KJ , Gabriel, PJ,JV are almost locks to leave after next season and guys like Hagans,EJ , Richards , Quick could go pro as well. I think Green, SKJ , Herro ( even that isn't a lock ) and Baker are the only guys you could be pretty certain return. But obviously this is realllllll murky at this point. I don't worry about that stuff unless this time next season the 19' class only has 1-2 commits . I bet this time next year we have 4-5 commits with 1-2 still in the wings.
I'm sure Cal is expecting at least 2 of Wenyen, PJ, and Vando to be gone after next year (if not sooner) and possibly all 3. Only problem would be if both Hagans and Wiseman want to re-classify.

Cal sacrificed a lot by sticking with Diallo like he did, if Cal asked him to stay I think he would...just a wish. If he asked Knox.

that's 12, with Hagans. Brad off scholarship. Leaves one open for Wiseman.
He's a tall borderline 5-star project that has wanted a UK offer forever. He's a year or two away from doing anything more than giving spot minutes at the elite level but could be good down the road.
Most likely he goes to a team desperate for a big. We haven't given him much of a look because he's not better than any of the options we have. If SKJ transfers or Richards leaves or something, maybe he gets an offer.
