Saw a great speech about this today. It will start mostly with fleets of unmanned AUV busses/vans etc in cities but ultimately travel in cities will be fully automated for all vehicles. The societal impacts to this are really a gamechnger related to air quality in cities, traffic and safety. Quality of life for senior citizens who want to maintain idependance will be positively affected.
