We would all love to see Estime play for Rutgers but honestly the young man seems to want to go away and that is fine. RB’s are a position where you sometimes hit paydirt. Ray was actually not anticipated to be as dominant but we had a excellent OL developing ,a great back in Brian and number of surrounding pieces which lent itself to a very productive offense. Think Paul James, think some of the other very good backs at Rutgers over the past 15 years . We will be fine ... I just don’t like the lack of respect shown toward Augie Hoffman by the player claiming MSU recruited him harder. I doubt that...

If the kid goes to MSU, next recruit up !!
We do need a large back though, all of our top RB's are half back sized.

T. Hunt’s article today pretty much confirms its MSU, holding off commitment until he figures A semi graceful way to tell Augie to pound sand. as Greg has said we’re unique you either want to be here or you don’t And he doesn’t for whatever reason

Augie loses 3 to MSU?

not a good look

Well I probably can easily add 15 lbs. which would get me back to about 6’1” 215 ... now my 40 times might be a little slow but what I lack in flat out speed I make up in desire. So I’m available if looking for a 70 year old RB.

I’m sure they are and it’s not all about playing time... Tucker has some cred and their staff is good...To blame Augie and Greg is stupid...kids choose places and that’s ok ...if you expect us to believe that this was because we didn’t recruit Estime hard enough that’s total BS... we will learn soon enough ... but we will find another... btw was Ray Rice a B1G back as a frosh 5’7” -5’8” 185 lbs. as a jr. Same height and about 208 lbs. would you accept another kid like that... the game is won upfront as we all know... good RB’s can look like great RB’s .

Big men up front and smaller back with quick first few steps to the hole equals arm tackles and one block away on the LB from big yardage which I’m sure we would all sign up for. Good luck to Estime and his teammates leaving Jersey, don’t let the door hit your ash on the way out.

We have to win these battles.... I thought we hired Augie to help North Jersey recruiting and partially to get these two guys...
We're still running behind on facilities, and 2020 didn't do us any favors as we try and raise the funds to close that gap.

I'm more comfortable losing a Jersey parochial kid to Notre Dame when they're undefeated and heading to the CFP than I am losing him to The Little Brother in East Lansing.

At this point, Schiano with enough money behind him will get the guys he needs to challenge Penn State every season. 2022 should be a good year.
