Is this game really Tuesday night, the 1st of March? Both teams aren't helping themselves in the rest and recovery department in prep for the first round of the state playoffs. What on earth are they thinking?

Not only is it Tuesday night its in Rockbridge 2 team 40 miles apart are going to drive 120 and 80 miles apiece to play. Game should have been at Pulaski Giles Narrows or even Radford not Rockbridge

Oh wow. That's even crazier. You'd think that whomever is in charge of the regional tournament would step in and change the venue

Whenever the rest of the state is done by Saturday to have their 2 teams selected out of a given region for state play, and there is one region that will not decide it until Tuesday, you don't need to know anything else. It tells you all about the leadership on the spot. The fact that both teams are driving many miles away to play the late, Tuesday game is par for the course, and just more proof of inept leadership.

Clearly, a leadership problem, and the Admins in 1C are really setting up their kids (Auburn and FC) for bad outcomes when they play 1D in the state tournament. This game could have and should have been played Saturday night.

This reminds me of two years ago when Glenvar and Radford played the regional final at Averett U in Danville. Supposedly the Glenvar coach wouldn't allow it to be moved thinking it would be to his teams advantage. Talking about motivating your opponent. Glenvar lost by 18.

I remember that. At least the final was played at a normal date where there could at least be some decent recovery time and most important, preparation time.
