The weird thing about AU’s FBI case is that a) the coach was helping players leave the program and b) the coach was pocketing WAY more cash than the players/family. Neither of those are normal. Usually schools get caught paying players to come play or stay, not facilitating a way for them to leave. Chuck was an idiot with money problems. Maybe Bruce knew something or told Chuck to help them get some money, but I doubt he knew exactly how Chuck was going about it and that Chuck swindled everyone for like 80k.

He is a great coach but he also cheats like a mother . He will get fired in the next 3 years though due to cheating but he will get Auburn to 2-3 straight tourneys before that. Auburn is winning the conference this year . They just are. But I also think they might lose in the 1st round of both the SEC and NCAA tournies .

The problem with Pearl is he's got a long record of not only cheating, but being total POS. And I do like Bruce, but it doesn't change what he is.
When a coach secretly records a recruit to set him up and then lies about what was on the tape, essentially trying to ruin the kid because he wouldn't commit to him, you're a POS.
The issue about lying to the NCAA at Tennessee wasn't really just about "lying", and definitely wasn't just about a BBQ like so many like to say. It was the fact that he lied about something so small, it tells you all you need to know about him as a person. If you'll lie about that, you'll bury bodies over something serious.
Oh then what do ya know, he gets caught up on an FBI sting, but this time instead of lying, he's going to plead the fifth because the FBI is involved and he figured he doesn't have to lie this time. Just evade.
Bruce makes millions doing what he does, he doesn't care about rules or regulations, he doesn't care about any sort of integrity. He's in this for the money and fame, doesn't care what happens to the programs, he'll roll the dice and try to weasel his way through. I've always said, I don't care if my teams cheat, but be good at it. Bruce is TERRIBLE at cheating, and then you look at his past - not only a liar but a lying snitch, and I just cant figure out why anyone would ever consider him at UK. The NCAA would absolutely nuke this program, and Bruce wouldn't care.
He's the type of guy you want to have a beer or joint with, maybe hit the strip clubs. I get where you're coming from on that.
