Wonder if Peral is really in it to win it at Auburn? Seems lik he'd jump on another basketball school job somewhere up north if he could....
Who knows. I think he likes the south. He seemed pretty content at UT when he had them rolling.
And they lost Adams mid game to a concussion
But to win than lose for Auburn but they still are terrible.
think they will have 3-4 losses by that time but still much improved. they are a tourney team next season for sure and a bubble team this .
This. They're likely to be the second best team in the SEC every year, once he gets them rolling.
It's 2016, beating UCONN is not a good win. UCONN is awful and won't sniff the NCAA Tournament.
I may go see Pearl and AU in person next Thursday. Going to Auburn to visit a good friend in their history PhD program. Of course UK/Ole Miss is at the same time...so idk what I'll do. I want to check out Auburn's new arena though and AU/UGA should be a good game.
We had our best player literally knocked out cold in a collision, and he landed head first into the ground after. It was very brutal.
This on top of the fact that Alterique and Terry Larrier are out for the year due to injuries. That meant we played without our top 3 players. Imagine if U.K. Played without Fox, Monk, and Bam.
On top of that one of our guards fouled out leaving us with only one guard. If Jalen didn't get knocked out we win that game, and fairly easily. Weirdest season I have ever witnessed.

Good for Auburn. I might be in the minority but I like Pearl. He's passionate and he gets the max out of his players IMO. I think it was a good hire by Auburn.
Maybe the NIT committee will take that into consideration when reviewing your seed
That can't be true. The UConn fan the other day was telling us all about how they were turning things around. I bet Ham Diallo must be thrilled to play for them.
Boy that sure sounds like the WAAAAAAAA-bulance to me. UCONN sucked before the injuries and now they just are god awful but still for a program like AU to go into Storrs and win is good. Also they beat an Average OKie team.
They led pretty much the whole game until Adams went down. Team is snake bitten this year.

Auburn just squeaked out a win at home against Mercer with a last second prayer. I guess with all the other stuff you had going on this should be viewed as a good loss by the comiittee.

Auburn will wipe the floor with us. People calling for Mark Fox's head right now. It's about to get ugly.
If he doesn't come here , that's where I want him to go . It'll take more than Diallio to make them a tournament team .imo
