Well, this is probably the best outcome we could have hoped for ahead of our trip to Auburn Saturday. They didn't lose, so they won't be too desperate. But they played poorly enough to lose, so they can't be too confident. Even when they could have closed out the game, they still gave Ole Miss multiple chances to win the game, but the Rebels just crapped the bed multiple times. Perfect.

Edit: the ones who should be sick over this game are Ole Miss, their staff, and their fans. This was a golden opportunity to give their season a jolt of life by getting a solid win, but losing this one is probably the death knell for the season. I'd say they're pretty much toast.

Well said friend. Gutted out a dub as only a blueblood can.

Now we can turn our attention to the matchup the sports universe has been waiting on Saturday in Auburn. What a display of humanity, class and elite basketball it will be.

WDE and GC!
If you want a friend you cant be running around making things up.
History clearly shows aU isn't even the best team in the state of aL.

I have seen this dude for the last few years say Auburn is a blueblood in basketball, I don't know if he really thinks this or just wishful thinking, but it's kind of funny. If Auburn is a blueblood in basketball, Kentucky is a football power house. Auburn is not even in the top 50 in all time wins, not even close, being a blueblood and wanting to be a blueblood are two very different things, sometimes trying to fit in makes you look real bad.

Denim Vest is good people. He doesn't really believe Auburn is a blueblood, he is just poking fun.

I went to bed after the game went to double OT I see Ole Miss choked it away.

Unreal how this seems to happen where LSU and Auburn and Tennessee comes back and wins when other teams go choke city in conference.

Historically no, Auburn is not a blue blood. But with Pearl they have to be considered a top 20 program on an annual basis until he leaves. Just like you said with UK football. We are not a powerhouse program but Stoops has elevated us to a modern day top 30 program on a yearly basis.

‘Denim Vest is good people’ ? No, not really. He talked a bunch of idiotic sh*t about Cal and UK on that off the wall message board the Auburn b-ball fans use because they’re not civil enough to bring insightful basketball talk to a real board. He and about 4-5 other ‘challenged’ individuals showed their true colors when they were called out. Don’t fall for his schtick. He’s no friend of UK.
