We went to tailgate in the lots under the viaduct. I asked how many actually attend the game. The answer was not many. At night games and especially since the game was over at the 1:36 mark of the first qtr, the booze was flowing quite heavilyBy the sounds of things on Twitter Saturday, there could have been several thousand people that were too s&*tfaced to even find the stadium.
True, but if you already had tickets why wouldn't you go into the stadium? If the game isn't looking so hot then go back out to taulgate.I would assume quite a few of them knew what the outcome would be and chose to have fun outside the stadium, which no doubt was much less gloomy than inside.![]()
I wasn't at the game, but a friend of mine who went thought it was packed too. Which is why I'm wondering how we didn't hit the 90k mark?As someone who was at the game, the stadium was completely packed for the first half. Surprisingly still almost 90% full in the third quarter.
Absolutely. The stadium was full. In fact, our seats in north stadium had two people sitting in them, I had room for about half an *** cheek. The old geezer next to me had his stadium seat about half an inch from my seat number. I hate those seats with a white hot passion. As someone who was at the game, the stadium was completely packed for the first half. Surprisingly still almost 90% full in the third quarter.
One of my favorite reasons for staying when NU isn't doing well is how much more room there is in the end zoneDepends where youre at.
North and south stadium suck. Always packed.
Moos needs to remove seats
Those stadium seats are the only way to guarantee your spot. Gotta get it on your number though.Absolutely. The stadium was full. What can I say? I have a fat ***. Just get there early and stake out your claim with your own seatAbsolutely. The stadium was full. I like them because it keeps the fatties from using my spot and from the peoples behind me's kneesAbsolutely. The stadium was full. Yes they have removed some in North stadium.I meant to ask this over the weekend, but the official attendance vs Ohio St was only 89,759.
That just seems low considering we went over 90k five times in 2016. Have seats at Memorial Stadium been removed?
True, but if you already had tickets why wouldn't you go into the stadium? If the game isn't looking so hot then go back out to taulgate.
Then why have tickets if you're not going to go to the game?Because the seats are so close together! They shoehorn so many in there one cannot even stand up to cheer. I'm not going back. Sitting in my recliner is so much better.
