I am excited about the moat they are building around the Gulag. Seriously the most intimidating place to play in college sports.

As a notorious hater of traffic, I do miss being able to be from my seat in section 115 to my car in the scarlet lot in about two minutes flat. Oh, the cost of B1G time athletics. :)

On the plus side, I'm getting good exercise sprinting to the green lot after basketball games.

OT. Hey Lou. On behalf of me (Bababooey) and Jim from the Yellow lot in the "Old days" (i.e. the crazies that arrived at 5 a.m. to get the corner spot and blast metal}. Wishing you and yours the best for the holiday season. Hope all is well. Miss those days.

OK, so it's early for an update. But it really is a nice hole, and considering how starved we were for any tangible sign of investment in the basketball program, I'm thrilled to have that gorgeous hole in the ground.

a badly needed addition for the program.... I wonder, selfishly, if there will parking for the ticket holders in the red lot area, once again....even though a big part of the area will be used for the structure.....we badly need more spaces

A big part of the structure is a parking deck so I would think that there would be availability to at least some degree. Although getting out of a parking deck is often a pain in the buttocks.

That was how State Senator/Season Ticket Holder Ray Lesniak was able to get the state $25 million tax credit and kickstart this thing by having this related to the building of a parking structure.
