I suppose at the beginning of the new athletic year we really didn’t know just how long COVID restrictions would last past football, but in an effort to give as many different bulldog club members an opportunity to attend at least one of the big three sports....if you received season tickets to football should that have counted you out to get tickets to basketball and baseball (or one of the other two scenarios)? Would that opened up the range of fans who would have been able to attend something? Tracking with me?
I’ve noticed that a lot of the same people are awarded tickets to all three because of their standing in the bulldog club, and I certainly respect that. But this kind of seems like a special circumstance. Which hopefully won’t ever happen again, but you never know.
I personally only hold basketball tickets, that’s what is priority for me. My wife’s family are baseball supporters and have had tickets for years. But neither of us were given a chance to be awarded tickets. I’m sure there a lot of other people in the same boat.
I’m curious if anyone here knows if bulldog club funding is brought in the same way federal taxes are? Whereas the top 50% support 97% of total taxes and the bottom 50% makes up 3%.
