This is always the risk when you don't throw your ace Game 1. You send the wrong signal. You really need to have a mentally tough team to make it happen, and I thought we had that with this team, but it appears we do not.

If you’re not ready before you get to the game you can’t get ready after you get to the game. At this point, making it out of this regional looks doubtful if we keep playing like this.

I’m not sure but I think the only time Mangum’s been on base was when he was HBP in the 1st inning. I could be wrong.
