Is there a venue we’d prefer? Here are the options:

First two rounds: Hartford, Des Moines, Jacksonville, Salt Lake City, Columbia SC, Columbus OH, Tulsa, San Jose.

Sweet 16 and Elite 8: Anaheim, Louisville, DC, Kansas City

So there’s not exactly anywhere close to Mississippi. Don’t have a Birmingham, Memphis, Nashville, NOLA, or even Little Rock this year.

Honestly the best we can hope for is that we don’t get paired with someone that would have a huge homecourt advantage. For example, Duke or UNC in Columbia, Kansas in Tulsa, Florida State in Jacksonville, etc.

I’m selfishly hoping for Des Moines or Tulsa, with the 2nd weekend in Kansas City since those are the closest to me.

I’d like Columbia SC because we know that court and we have a bunch of fans over this way, even Atlanta is an easy drive.

We will be in the Duke Regional in Columbia because we are MSU

I've thought about this really since the season began of how we would matchup with them because I just get this feeling we're going to end up playing them. The best I could come up with was:

Tre Jones- Peters
RJ Barrett- Nick
Cam Reddish- Q
Zion-Woodard
Marques Bolden-Perry

We would have to play out of our minds, but I think that's the lineup that gives you the best chance to be in game with 5 minutes to go. Which is all you can ask for when playing Duke.

As of Feb. 14, Joe Lunardi has us as a 7 seed in Jacksonville playing St. John's. If we were to win that game, we'd face the 2 seed North Carolina...

Selfishly, I want Tulsa. It's about an hour and a half from me. That would be great.

Sweet 16 in Louisville would be choice. Seems Jacksonville or Columbia SC would be the best for fan support which is a funny term these days.

Just kidding, I assume he's sitting this year. If not, I'm probably not kidding
