Prayers friend. My mother's first stroke she forgot me. She remembered her great granddaughter and asked me if I lived near (I built a house less than a hundred yards away from hers) if I could make sure she got off the bus all right.
That your dad knows about the game is promising.

Yeah, talked to my mom again and they watched the game. He's still in a lot of pain, said he was just happy we got the win and if they let him he wants to go to bed now. Blessed he's there in good spirits and got to see the cats get a good win.

I had another TIA stroke February 1st. It's like the 5th one I've had.

Hopefully your father will be alright. They are scary as hell and I'm glad your mother is there by his side. Your family will be in my prayers.

My mom and dad fly to Vegas every year for the first two rounds, they have been for the past 5 years. My dad got fed up with all the odd long locals for the cats. We have went to a lot of tourney games after the first 2 and he's a huge Ky fan and has season tickets. Last night they think he had a stroke and he's still in the ER in Vegas. My mom is going on no sleep, it was their first day of their week long vacation. I'm going on no sleep. Finally got to talk to him between test and all he said is they better be done with this crap before the cats tip, but then my mom had to take the phone as he was too weak and in pain. So stuck here, their stuck there and just hoping he's ok. Kind of a helpless feeling when someone you love is on the other side of the country. Appreciate any prayers and here's hoping for a cats win tonight.
God Bless you and your family

Got to finally talk to him a bit today. Still have a few more test with him battling his second round of cancer, but sounds as good as I could hope for. A mild stroke, his left side is week. One issue is their vacation started wed., it happened wed. night and they were supposed to be there one week. The doctors think PT aggressively he could get back on his feet in 7-10 days. He had to have someone help him with a walker today to go down the hall. Mu mom is there by herself at the condo when she leaves the hospital and shes a wreck. So on top of that they flew out of Nashville to get a better rate. So their stuck in Vegas, truck is in Nashville and I'm here in Louisville. So waiting to hear back on what they say and come up with a plan. I'm getting a friend to take me to Nashville to get the truck and we will figure out the rest as he gets better.

Thanks for asking Good sign is my parents don't like cell phones so they have the most basic ones you can imagine, no smart phones. So talking to them today and hearing what the doctor said and I hear my dad barely in the background saying, ask him what time Ky plays Sat.. My mom was like really? I talked to him about ARZ and told him 5:15pm, 2:15pm there. Hey he might have had this horrible thing happen, come to find out my mom thought he was gone and was trying to bring him back waiting for 911 which I hate to hear, but after all that he wants to make sure their PT doesn't screw up him watching the cats. Love him, his heart, his passion.

Thanks again everyone, please keep him and my mom in your prayers and I'm hoping they are home soon and Safe back in Ky. We had talked about going to ATL if we won, of course not worried about that now, but can't wait to talk to him tomorrow about Virginia. Last time we went to NCAA games together was ATL 2012. Just want them home and safe, wish we could do it again, but might have to let him live vicarious through me this tourney. Family and Ky basketball forever.

Prayers sent. I lost mine 2 years ago and still pick up the phone to call him when the cats are playing. Here's hoping to a full and speedy recovery.

Sounds like today he's not doing as well, can't move his arm like yesterday, but their going to start working with him with PT so hopefully that helps. He's going to watch the game and I'm going to Nashville tomorrow to get their truck. So just hoping he feels better after PT. Thanks again for all the prayers. Lets go Cats! I know a win would make him feel better for sure.
