Worst recruiting class ever
first to worst
Worst recruiting class ever
more power to him,i just never thought askew would ever be any goodAskew probably saw what happened with Juzang.
I dont think thats a given .. NOTHING is a given anymore with UK basketball. We cant " trust in Cal" those days are in the rear view mirrorMeans we got incoming...
this might sound bad. I just got a huge erection
Oh he'll add a PG...the only question is, will he be a straw the stirs the drink, or a turnover waiting to happen.I dont think thats a given .. NOTHING is a given anymore with UK basketball. We cant " trust in Cal" those days are in the rear view mirror
“I’m not like other West Coast kids,” Askew said when asked about being so far from home. “That doesn’t affect me.”![]()
Still, the Sacramento, California, native is at least aware of the conversation.
“A lot of West Coast kids want to stay home, and they’re afraid to go far for college and stuff like that,” he said when asked to explain how he was different from other players from the region. “That’s not me. I want to be different — and I am different. I feel like coming here was best for me, so I did it.
“And it is best for me. I’m learning a lot. I’m learning new things every day. … If I come out here, I’m out here. I’m not leaving.”
Recruiting was good a EVERY team would loved to sign those guys.Worst recruiting class ever
Well Hickman is a west coast kidHopefully Cal stops recruiting west coast kids, unless they’re a for sure one and done.
@Kybluedude it's not looking good for your prognostication. Sorry buddy.well add another to the "we only lost 'X' many guys"! list
I don't have to stretch too awfully far. For next year, maybe no big deal. For the continuity and growth of the program, maybe it is a negative. It would be nice to have a guy like Askew stick around. He might be really good by his junior or senior years. This couldn't be more obvious, or logical. Or positive for UK's next year squad.
1. Cal is adding a top-ranked transfer.
2. Hickman is more than capable of taking Askew's back-up minutes.
3. It likely means good news on Mintz.
You've got to reaaaalllly stretch to see this as a negative for Kentucky. It's a positive sign for all those reasons and Devin could read the tea leaves.
Right....this guy said multiple times that he wasn’t like the other “west coast transfers”. Matter of fact I think he just said that a few weeks agoFurther proof that nothing anyone says is a "lock."
Yeh so glad we had Boston and Clarke to take Juzang's minutes - Some people never learn or forget real quick. This couldn't be more obvious, or logical. Or positive for UK's next year squad.
1. Cal is adding a top-ranked transfer.
2. Hickman is more than capable of taking Askew's back-up minutes, and has shown he's a better option for 22-23...
Yeah but at the end of the day it didn’t work out for Kentucky at all .Recruiting was good a EVERY team would loved to sign those guys.
Now the development of last years team was a total sham
With this new transfer rule, everybody will lose guys. Especially if the coach tries to improve the team by adding transfers (which we need to do), essentially recruiting over guys with more experienced better players.well add another to the "we only lost 'X' many guys"! list
Allen was supposed to be the one that was going to "take all of Juzang's minutes ..."Yeh so glad we had Boston and Clarke to take Juzang's minutes - Some people never learn or forget real quick.
Ha ... alright. We were just ahead of the curve. We've been preparing for this "losing all our guys" thing for years now. Once again, Calipari is playing chess. With this new transfer rule, everybody will lose guys. Especially if the coach tries to improve the team by adding transfers (which we need to do), essentially recruiting over guys with more experienced better players.
