As much as I dislike Duke

I hate to say it, but you have to take you hat off to Coach K. He has been doing it a long time and has to be considered one of the best of all times. Had Pitino not left in 97 he would be in that category or would be THE man in coaching.

And somewhere on the Rafters, we will hear we are better than Duke. Coach K didn't run the shot clock down 3 straight trips once they got up, he can coach!

-Gets all of the calls
-Gets easiest path to Championship game
-Gets no scrutiny for anything that ever goes on in his program
-Gets a pass from all of the media

He is a great coach, but has been given many advantages not afforded to other coaches.

Look he's a great coach. He throws a ton of looks at you, and has an extremely mixed bag. Kentucky is far too one dimensional. We have the talent to get to the show, but we have trouble putting it in the bag right now.

Oh, and we don't get the preferential treatment either.

Not going to question his coaching .. he now has two titles that can directly be attributed to the zebras. And that's part of his strategy. He works the refs and all the K jock sniffers are OK with it. He is the least ethical coach ever as far as playing the game of bb goes. Can we have another flop or kick your legs out 3 please?

Dude, go to a Duke board or something. Did you see their season? They didn't even show up for their own conference tourney! But when you somehow get the easiest road to the final game in years, and then get ALL the calls to go your way in said game, what do you think happens? It's no wonder Duke is the ultimate bandwagon team - might as well cheer for the team that the officials and media cheer for!

Working the refs is part of the game. It is as old as the game itself. If you are a coach and not constantly lobbying the refs, then you aren't doing your job. I belive Mr. Chaney once challenged Cal to a street fight due to his disguist on how hard Cal was working the refs.

Coach K passed Rupp tonight with 5 titles. (He did it in 12 FFs compared to Rupp's 4 titles in 6 FFs.)

Coach K was 0 for 4 for his first four Final Fours, and I remember the media questioning if he could ever win the big one. He is 5 for the last 6.

Didn't Duke lose in the first round the past 2 years?

This year, Duke had a cakewalk to the Title game then got to play a Wisconsin team that UK wore out Saturday night. Duke was pretty much gifted the Title this year.

Not to mention that they always play 8 against 5.

Please keep this coach K crap to yourself. He lost to Mercer with Jabari Parker in the first friggen round. He had 9 Micky D's just like we did this year and they act like he was starting walkons.

Krycholsky is as good as all the talent and refereeing can assemble in his favor and he crumbles like a house of cards when those are taken away.

And for the record, they lost in the first round in 2012 and 2014.

Cal would NEVER lose in the first round while at UK.

Dude wins...

I really have no problem with Duke winning a title...they're a blue blood program...it shouldn't shock or upset anyone that a great college basketball program with the history and tradition wins a title...that's what blue bloods due...

It's easy to win when the national media, NCAA, selection committee, and refs, bend over backwards to make sure that you win and sweep all of your faults under the rug.

With every call going his way and with major corporations basically sponsoring his recruiting and the best press imaginable ignoring his obvious flaws and wooing over his every move, the only miracle is that he doesn't win it every year. What, seriously WHAT more advantages could Krycholsky be handed? You know the refs' thumbs will be on the scale in every crucial call. Imagine how unstoppable Kentucky and Cal would be if we had the refs giving us every 50-50 call?

Well done. Do you have something else to add or are you just here to provide the insults?
