I haven't taken the time to try to look it up myself but just from reading here there is apparently a way we can lose this regional by losing this first game today to Campbell. What is that scenario ?

Someone posted something last night that made it look like the head to head tiebreaker would take priority over the seed tie breaker - so if we lost the first and didn’t get to play the second

If we lose Game 6 and Game 7 can't be played, Campbell advances.

Click here and go to Appendix H (it's the next-to-last page).

6 games played = Winner of Game #6 unless each team has one loss, in which case the following will be considered:
a. head-to-head competition
b. best seeded team remaining.

If we lose Game 6, Campbell will be 1-0 against us, and would advance based on head-to-head.

Wonder what "ideally" means in this context

"All regional competition should ideally be completed not later than the Monday before the start of super regional competition."

That's poor language, because elsewhere in the same document (p 26), it gives various inclement weather scenarios that have games being played as late as Tuesday.

Of course it's ideal to finish on Monday, but they can definitely be played on Tuesday.

Just gives themselves a way out, and ability to make any decision they want to at the time. That’s the way I read it.
