What's funny is that you think you're chastising a Cal hater, but in fact have been taken in by a troll masquerading as such.

Do you ever call out the Cal supporters when they bash other fans? There are examples in this thread.
I have yes. We all know it’s Ed and kybassfan.

Seems like an odd observation for a poster that just joined this site on May 17, 2022.

So just how many sock puppet names are you using?
Yawn. His posts and everyone posts can easily be searched. Sadly, you have to do that sometimes here since there are so many frauds.

Sorry to ruin your “gotcha moment”, kid.

And nowhere in my response could you have possibly concluded that I thought I was talking to a Cal hater. You could have been a Cal lover for all I knew.

I have to agree we are all UK fans on here. You want Cal gone because your a UK Fan, or you want Cal to stay because your a UK Fan and finally you have fans that are UK Fans that want UK to win, regardless of who is coaching.
I fall into the last segment. I just want to win and run a tight/cohesive program. Don't really care who the coach is as long as they can do that.

jai Lucas hasn't done **** for us so good riddance..and how you gonna complain about brooks leaving when he's public enemy #1 in every game thread, can't play D barely rebounds can't dribble. if he's such a loss wouldn't he be headed to a better situation than Washington???
No doubt, if it weren't being used as ammo to denounce Calipari, Brooks' departure would be cheered by pretty much everyone. Look, I have supported and defended Brooks as much as anyone on this board, but outside of the Kansas game (which we ALL must admit was probably his best game at UK) the rest of the season was not very good. He was pretty good early in the season but he was very inconsistent (seemed to regress after the Kansas game), which has always been one of the main knocks on him. The ONLY reason I figured Brooks might come back for his senior year is because he had no NBA options, and he had zero interest from any NBA teams. He was a g-league guy at best. Truth is, Toppin passed him up midway through the season and, if not for injury, would have likely taken the starting job from Brooks. Once that jumper started falling for Toppin, it was academic. IF Brooks had come back, he wouldn't be a starter and he'd be sitting the bench as a senior. Losing him to Washington should tell everyone even he saw the writing on the wall. I don't blame him for leaving, but I also didn't really want him to stay other than to provide some depth.

LOL that is some serious logical reasoning there, mental giant.
Let me spell it out for you. If you go to a site of a team you don’t like a spew negative **** then that is the very definition of a troll. If you don’t understand that I can draw it in crayon for you.

No, let me spell it out for YOU. Your fallacy (and obvious lack of logic) is predicated on the notion that a UK GRADUATE is ipse dixit a "troll" because you say so, whereas in reality he does not like the coach who has left a stain on his degree and his school through his antics, to say nothing of the fundamental harm he has wrought on the the basketball program. Go back to spewing your nonsense on some other website and let the grown ups talk.

Both brooks and toppin staying just didn’t make sense. I’m glad keion gave it 3 years. He’s had people in his ear telling him to transfer since 10 games into his freshman season. He was probably gone last season but his parents stepped in and said they didn’t want him hopping from school to school.

That said Jacob Toppin is an off-season of serious work on his jumper from being a terrifying college small forward. At 6’9 he has the mobility and athleticism to defend any position on the floor. So maybe it could have worked. It’s just that power forward is the safer bet for him for now and if keion had come back toppin wouldn’t have gotten the minutes to blossom and brooks would have also always been looking over his shoulder.

But yeah i agree using brooks departure as an argument against Cal at this point is a bit extreme.

Cal seems to finally be focusing harder on getting guys back now too.

You are a non fan dogging out a team and coach you do not care about. Bit doesn’t matter if you went to uk or not. That is the very definition as a troll. No one would confuse you with being a grown up.. please explain how Cal “left a stain on your degree. If a schools athletic results determine the value of you education then you’ve got serious issues.

People complaining about Jai Lucas leaving have told us inherently, at the same time, that they don’t know the sport of basketball.

Its sad really, here we are on a UK basketball forum and there are users on here who don’t even know the sport? I’d ask what the purpose of such communication would be, but I don’t think humanity has an answer for that at the present time. It will take decades of research from scientists and behavioral analysts before this phenomenon can be fully understood
