It's rarely only about money.

He'll have plenty of opportunities to get paid from schools that aren't morally bankrupt.
HAHAHAHAHAHA. You must be new to NCAA athletics, it is almost always about the money.

6 million coaching in the Big12 or 800K coaching the smallest school in the country with very little fan support.

But with no AD and the Pepper Hamilton report not due out until September, I think any coach with a current gig would be a fool to go to Baylor.

You literally just reiterated my point. There's not enough money to draw a lot of candidates.

Jim Grobe is the current chatter.

What a goober. Monty makes more than $800,000.

I'm hoping them hiring Grobe instead of Phil Bennet means they are moving away from hiring anyone connected with the current staff. If they continue to do so, that might mean they won't come after Monty next year.

Looks like Baylor's recruiting is taking a nosedive. 2 of 3 from 2017 commits have uncommitted and 7 commits from 2016 are asking out of their NLI. I don't see Baylor being as good next year. Unless Grobe keeps Briles' son to run the offense, production could drop considerably. That's liable to rile the hardcore fans and some Boosters.
