Watching the game, I don’t feel as bad now. Duke must’ve played out of their mind against us. Army hanging around with them at home.

Not sure if this makes me feel better or worse. No shame in getting your *** caved in by Superman. But by Robin The Boy Wonder? For now I’m just going to assume Duke’s big three are taking the game off.
If it was in February, maybe. First game if the season, embarrassing, but lots and lots of games left before anybody grabs the hardware.
This is why I thought some of you were way overreacting to the Ky-Duke game. They are good, but they were hitting every shot they threw up, and we were missing every shot. It was a fluke-ish game. It happens!

Army has far superior point guard play than Kentucky does and they play better defense.
Imagine that. They hit like 12 3’s on us.
I’d be perfectly okay if Duke wasn’t nearly as good as we made them look, even if it made our loss look worse.
We’ve been awful so far, and It’s a long season, so I guess it’s the little things we can hope for to keep us going..
As of right now, we don’t have gaurd play, period.
Duke is obviously really good when they are on, but they’re suspect on defense (we just made it easy for them by jacking up bad shots). They are too reliant on the big 3 and they won’t be able to win every game on their own. They’ve scored 35 of the 43 points.
We played as bad as we can & Duke played their best.
I may be the only one on this board but I really wish Duke had to take on the army. Durham would be flattened.
And Army has made 6. A lot easier to stay with someone when it’s 7-6. Rather than what 12-4? Plus you all almost shot around 50% from 3 to make matters worse.
They're gonna struggle defensively all year. These white boys from Army are abusing them. What they did against us is not who they are. We just didn't show up in all phases of the game.

Zion Williamson is keeping Duke afloat in this game. Barrett, Reddish, and the rest of the lineup have been rather terrible.

Zion going off for 21 in the first half. But Army killing Duke with easy baskets off turnovers. Also doesn't hurt Army on fire from 3. Already drained 7 of them and shooting almost 50% with the 3 ball.
Oh yea they’re definitely not playing well... but I find it funny the things people point out that aren’t really the difference between the two games.
